She resides in Punta Gorda, Florida with her husband and children.

Jenn is the treasurer of Whispering Woods Safe Haven. She brings over 23 years in the teaching field. Her experience in education allows her to contribute versatility, flexibility, communication, and organization. “It is hard to see how easily children are exploited by family and friends. I hate seeing this happen not only around the country, but in our own backyards. I am looking forward to seeing how much Whispering Woods Safe Haven will expand and reach the many male victims in our communities. This team will be a great resource for the victims and those that are there for them.” Jenn is here to help love the children and help guide them in the right direction. She resides in Cape Coral, Florida.

Vice President of Whispering Woods Safe Haven, Juli, has over 25 years experience in education with children on many different levels. Her understanding of adolescent development, both social and emotional, has helped her become a very compassionate, caring person who always wants what is in the best interest of the child. “Over the years I have seen young teens struggle with many emotional issues, both inside the classroom and out. Learning that sexual exploitation of young males is becoming more and more prevalent in our area is very disturbing to me. Many of these boys also struggle with both emotional and social issues even before the exploitation occurs. These boys and young men need help! It is for this reason that I feel the need to be involved.” Juli strives to help all children feel safe, loved, and successful no matter where their circumstances have taken them. She resides in Alva, Florida with her husband Joe.

Allen, Board member, has 5 years of youth community involvement in St. Joseph, Michigan. Allen brings his experience in marketing, fund raising, planning, Information Technologies (IT), and strong communication skills to this well needed cause. “This segment of the Population has been long forgotten or has been an unspoken tragedy that can no longer be forced to Remain Silent”. I am VERY Proud to serve on this board and to lend a hand to help the survivors heal and grow to be the Adult man that they deserve to become. Allen is passionate about his family travel and helping people grow and become stronger even though they may face adverse situations in their life. Everyone deserves to have the life that they are destined to become without fear or ridicule because matters they could not control. He lives in Cape Coral, Florida  with his two cats Gray-Grey and Maxine.

Kai, Board Member, he lives in Alva, Florida for the past 2 years with a wonderful partner and his in-laws. Kai has a background with many working fields. He has been in the military, hospitality, business administration, IT, and marketing so when it comes to what to bring into this organization, he will be able to assist in many areas.

The world around us has changed and so is the thinking of many people in the world, but what hurts in many ways is the ignorance and the non-caring of people today when it comes to our young boys being treated like a piece of garbage to be used in different sickening ways. Kai Vicente, is willing to put a stop to it. He is willing to put in all the energy and efforts to help save these young men so they may feel safe and loved like the way they should. He wants to help educate and promote worldwide so that these inhumane situations will stop and so that these children will have a chance in life.

Our Amazing Team Member:

Stephanie is a volunteer with the organization. Her 14-year background in Real Estate gives her access to many people, who may have never heard of this problem or feel that it is too remote for it to be “real.”  She is strong willed and feels that this is a cause that needs her help.

Paula is excited to be  part of a  great team of people that are passionate about developing and expanding this non-profit organization to bring hope, love and support to sexually exploited, human trafficking, youth male survivors.   She has over 20 years of experience working with regular and special needs children.  She worked at Charter Glade Facility in the following units: adult and children lockdown, , drug and alcohol rehab, Alzheimer and dementia.  She has been a single parent for 19 to two sons.  After facing a personal experience with her son, Paula, has found special interest in the cause.

When Michelle heard about Whispering Woods, she didn’t even have words to explain her heartache. Sex trafficking on women is widely advertised, but what people don’t know is that men and boys are victims as well.   There was no question whether she  should  get involved nor could she  just sit back and say ‘that’s terrible’.  God put her in the right place at the right time to get involved with so many talented and selfless people.  Their enthusiasm and tenacity is infectious.  She am grateful and blessed to be a part of this great organization which WILL come to the rescue of helpless victims.

Amy is a retired Michigan teacher from Cape Coral.  She has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Amy sees retirement as opportunity to help others and to give back. She is a Guardian ad Litem volunteer for Florida’s 20th Circuit Court, representing the needs of abandoned, abused, and/or neglected children in dependency court until a permanent home is achieved.  Being horrified by human trafficking has inspired her into action, as well as, God tugging on her heart. This has allowed her to convert feelings of helplessness and frustration by working with a team of volunteers to open Whispering Woods Safe Haven. She is a avid kayaker, loves gardening and reading.

Robyn has joined our team at Whispering Woods Safe Haven. She has a heart for people, and she brings over 30 years of experience in building and fostering relationships in both the corporate world as well as in the field of education. She has 16 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, and she is currently in her 14th year of teaching. She is passionate about kids. In addition to teaching them in the classroom, she also organizes a wide variety of extra school functions to enhance their experiences at school. She has many different roles throughout her school, and she can often be heard saying, “It’s all about the kids!” She joined the mission of Whispering Woods Safe Haven as a way to support her close friend Shari Smith, but now feels a heavy call on her heart to help these children in whatever capacity she can. She currently resides in Cape Coral, Florida with her family. She has been with her husband Rich for 25 years, and they have an 8 year old son who is the light of their life together. Robyn brings to our team a compassion for children and people, as well as, a strong will to accomplish whatever needs to be done for the mission.
